Travis’ Viewing Habits:-
* The Living and the Dead (TV) - turgid and poor.
* The Dead of Summer (TV) - basically Friday the 13th: the TV show. Basic horror tropes that fail to shock.
* The Conjuring 2 - Forgettable. Not bad at all, but you’ve already seen this movie in thousands of previous hour movies.
* London Has Fallen - sequel to Olympus Has Fallen. Fails to be intelligent which could be its biggest issue. It is a stock standard action movie and it is preaching “America will save the day!”.
* Clever man (TV) - superhero show from Australia which is very impressive.

George’s Viewing Habits and “Making up for the last few weeks”
* 10 Cloverfield Lane - the pseudo-sequel to Cloverfield which is far superior in every way. What was really refreshing was that the ending had not been spoiled for me. All I knew was it was sort of tied to Cloverfield. What an ending! M.E.W is phenomenal, John Goodman is terrifyingly brilliant.
* Zootopia - considering the environment in the UK at the moment following BrExit, this movie should be required watching; it may help calm people down and help them realise that variety is ok.
* Pan - a movie so bad it manages to shit all over the good will Director Joe Wright and Hugh Jackman have built up; also it fucks up Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’
* X-Men, X-2, X-Men: First Class, Days of Future Past
* Victor Frankenstein - The Max Landis written, reimagining of Frankenstein.
* Pride & Prejudice and Zombies - a rather forgettable movie with a brilliantly hilarious Matt Smith!
* Creed; who would have thought that a spin-off from a movie franchise started 40 years ago.
* Seventh Son - a piss-poor adaptation of the Wardstone Chronicles/Spooks Apprentice book series with Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, Alicia Vikander
* Zoo (TV series) - from one of the creators of Fringe and based on a James Patterson book

Terrible Movie Challenge: Timecode: 00:44:20 - 01:01:44
Marmaduke from 2010 - Owen Wilson, Judy Greer, Lee Pace, Emma Stone and a host of known-names enjoying a pay-cheque. It makes Scoodie-Doo look like a masterpiece.

This Week’s Review
Pros:
* George Lopez as the cat
* Very nice Indiana Jones reference
* Some good songs - Tupac, California, Let’s Get It On
Cons:
* Owen Wilson as Marmaduke - what happened?
* Dog CGI is creepy
* Within 10 minutes you have the first dog fart joke
* The cat is better than Marmaduke and wasted as a side character
* William H Macy is awful
* Dog surfing competition
* The plot is basically Mean Girls for dogs.
* Dog dance number at the end of the movie!! WTF!
FML Results: George was robbed (according to him) and so must watch...
Grease 2 bullshit.

Stephen King Season continues with The Mist (2007): Timecode: 01:01:45 - 01:28:18
A good movie but rather dated and “TV” aesthetic.
Next up is Maximum Overdrive, directed by Stephen King.
